I passed my Geography exam! It wasn't a grade to write home about (and since my dad now seems to read this religiously, it won't be posted here either!) but brings me onto the right side of pass/fail, and I think I should have no problem passing the final, though I think I'll still meet with the teacher and make sure everything is in good hands.

In other news, I hate losing. I hate losing so much that I will not rant about what I found out I lost this week because it will probably just make me more frustrated. But at the same time, I am highly motivated when I lose something to come back and prove people wrong - and rest assured, I will.

Now time to put together this broadcast piece ... this one is going to take some time, becuase it has to be done all with "natural sound" - i.e. - no narration. So I need to find the best bits from my 6 mins of interviews, combine them w/ some interesting background sounds, and somehow have it all make sense. I'm doing my story on the popularity of instant messaging in college and will use a bunch of the alert sounds and such that AIM has to offer. How thrilling.
